How to Root injoo Fire and Change its Imei


This post is directed to injoo fire phone users.. This phone is one of the latest beasts that got android lovers smiling.. I was just in the cafe and got motivated to compose this post, after seeing its high searching keystrokes on google.



How to root your beloved injoo Fire

All you need to do first is to download the latest version of kingroot here

After downloading, install and launch the app.

After launching, switch on your data connection and make your you have about 10mb while your network is set at 3G

After switching your connection, wait for the app to detect your phone,

After it detects your phone, Click the Circle in the app that says "Root" to root your phone.
This usually takes 5mins or more.

If the action is successful, you should see success "" message.

Just know your baby is rooted.

How to change injoo fire imei

1. Download Mobile uncle from playstore.

2 launch it and wait for it to load

3 After it has load, Click on Engineer mode →Engineer mode mtk→Conectivity→CDS Information →Radio Information.

In this area you will see Phone1 & Phone2

Phone1 is for Sim1 while phone2 is for Sim2
Click on the one you want to change.

You will see something like AT+
Just type a letter and delete the letter.
You will notice a pop up displaying
AT+EGMR=1,7" " & AT+EGMR=1,10" "

select the first one with 7" " if you are changing phone1 or select the second one with 10" " if you are changing phone2

Input your IMEI in the middle of the semicolon.
Example:
Your Input should look like 
0
AT+EGMR1,7" 358265017892626"

After imputing, just click " Send command and you should receive a success message.

Input your phone to Flight mode for 5sec and set it back to normal.

Dial *#06# to check if the IMEI really changed.

  1. tried rooting my innjoo fire,it stopped halfway. i restarted my phone & wanted to try again,it said it has been successfully rooted.continue with the rest procedure and when i tried sending the command it said "this command is not allowed in userbuild" please help.
