The new WhatsApp feature basically allows users to add context to a message, wherever it is needed. Facebook owned WhatsApp is trying to make its app simpler for users by adding the ability to refer to old messages.

The update is only available for beta testers for now, with a possibility it will reach users pretty soon. However, it is not clear if it will be released for iOS anytime soon.

WhatsApp recently added a host of new features to make its platform both convenient and fun. It is reportedly looking to add GIF support to its iOS app. The company added support to share documents, like PDFs, Doc files, etc even from third-party apps like Google Drive, OneDrive.

WhatsApp is also now fully encrypted end-to-end by default, which means that man-in-the-middle attacks are no longer possible on WhatsApp chats, and no third-party can read or listen in to the conversations.

WhatsApp is also working on a video-calling feature, which was earlier spotted in an Android beta build, but later taken off. We’ll have to wait and see when WhatsApp finally launches the video-calling feature.

Then go back to your Whatssap and open the message and read it.. after that, close back the chat and the app fully (Delete it from background apps by minimizing and then swiping to the right or left) then switch remove your device from Airplane Mode.

Since your Network wasn't On the time you opened the message, Whatsapp wont record it as Read message.. that is it..

1. All thanks to Root Explorer. Download it HereFor you will be needing it.

2. Launch the downloaded app and goto Root»»Data»»User»»(0)»»Com.Whatsapp»»Shared_prefs»»com.whatsapp_preferences.xml Click and open.

3. Since the file ends with .XML, it means we can customize it. Long press the file and Tap (open with) select Text Editor and continue.

Locate this line [[ int name=”media_limit_mb” value=”16″ /> ]] And Change the (16) To any value of your choice... I'd recommend 1000
Which is approximate to 1gb

4. To change whatsapp group limit, Locate [[ int name="participants_size_limit" value="100" /> ]] and change the 100 to any number of your choice not exceeding 9999.
If you're using Whatsapp+ you'd notice that your your group members have already being tweaked to 9999 and your file sharing limit to 29mb.
Click your option key and tap (save changes) reboot your device and rock this Tweak.
